Pamporovo is a mountain resort situated in the heart of the Rhodope Mountains. Nestled in the mountains, it is embraced by greenery during the summer, and in the winter - covered with fluffy snow. This places it among the most preferred resorts by both Bulgarian and foreign tourists.

Pamporovo is a paradise for skiers and snowboarders during the winter season. Most slopes start at Snezhanka Peak. Their total length is over 34 km and they are of different difficulty - suitable for beginners as well as for advanced skiers. The longest slope is 5.1 km long. Lifts and drags serving the slopes have a capacity of 8500 people per hour. There are several ski schools in the resort which are among the best in Europe and also wardrobes from which you can rent ski equipment.
