Burgas (also written Bourgas) is the second largest city on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast and one of the largest in the country. The town is surrounded by three lakes - Atanasovsko, Burgas Lake and Mandrensko, which are protected areas. Bourgas is the largest Black Sea port in the country and the international airport serves flights all year round.

 Bourgas has a very favorable location as it is close to some of the most popular summer resorts - Ravda, Nessebar, Sunny Beach, Saint Vlas, Pomorie, Sozopol, Kiten, Lozenets. This makes the city extremely communicative and attracts guests from all over the world.  

Bourgas is an attractive destination for both living or tourism. The city is contemporary, with good infrastructure, many schools, universities and sports halls. Public transport is very well organized and you can easily reach any point in the city. For several years Burgas has been awarded the title "The best city to live in Bulgaria". 

Summer in Burgas is long and sunny. Due to the influence of the sea the autumn is much warmer than the middle of the country. Winter is mild and snow is rare while spring is cooler and comes a little later.

Here you can enjoy the incredible view from the old marine casino and the bridge - favorite places of the residents and guests of the city. There are many alleys and green areas, children's playgrounds and a variety of bars in the Sea Garden. 

Nightlife, especially during the summer, also offers many opportunities - discos, bars, casinos. They are situated not only in the central part of the town but also along the sea shore.
